I was trying to get my phone number off my old account that my brother was using, but every time I try to add my phone number its keep saying "That verification method isn't working right now. Please try another method", and the tab says "Blocked", and at first I thought my account was block [for Some reason], but I could still sign in, Then i tryed to refresh a few times. but that also didnt work, and the thing is I can put the phone number, back on the other account, but not on the other one i'm trying to get it on.

2025-02-05T15:59:31+00:00 I had to use a friend’s number from another country. The number doesn’t have to be linked to your account or anything.
It is very frustrating how hard it is, and this error STILL isn’t fixed.

2025-02-05T11:01:51+00:00 Hi, I have tried again and again for using the verification method by SMS and it says it constantly says it is not available. There is no other way to recover my account. I have used various methods such as clearing my browser cache, using other browsers or internet connections etc. but it gives the same error again. The sms method is the only method setup on my account, and despite putting all the correct details (including the password and the phone number) I am sitll unable to access my account.
I have critical information saved on my account and unfortunately, I am unable to access it. Crucial websites are also linked to it, such as linkedin, facebook etc. and it is of significant importance that I recover this amount.
I have tried to talk to an agent or contact microsoft support but unfortunately there is no way that can happen.
Please help me out over here by reaching out to my alternative email (which I am using right now). It is of utmost importance that I recover my original email, thanks.

Tried all these thing but still not able to log in to the account. Can you please help. We are able to reset the password multiple times but not able to sign in even after password has been changed.
