I keep trying install this update yet it keeps failing. I already ran troubleshooter said it resolved the issue but the error persists. I also disabled my antivirus and tried again still did not work And I keep getting error (0x80070643) Is this a known issue? All the other updates installed fine without issue.

When I looked at the error history, it appears that the recovery partition is not large enough and so the install fails. The solution suggested requires a lot of eye of newt admin commands to shrink the main partition and enlarge the space where the recovery partition is to be installed. I would hope that Microsoft can come up with something more automated. This doesn't look like something the average windows user can handle. Looks like a one typo disaster waiting to happen.
Updated 50+ Win11 seats this morning, no issues...
However, Every Server on premise (SVR2022) has the issue!
Tried the NetFX Repair tool... no success...
I'll just sit on this until MS works it out....
I'm waiting patiently on day 2 for a patch to this patch that actually works. All of the workarounds I've read about seem too involved and too risky for me. I suspect the chances for borking my system are greater with one of these workarounds gone wrong than coming across a virus that exploits any vulnerability that has opened from this issue.
Getting an update from Microsoft, or better yet a fix that works with Windows update, would be greatly appreciated. It's Thursday and I'm waiting...again.

Same problem. I restored to a restore point from two days ago. Updated different file programs updates. Then did the other 3 updates for the 10th. And once again for the 30th time it downloads, and install fails. With all the people reporting this, it is CLEARLY a MS problem, not the user's fault.
Guess I'll just have to wait for MS to fix their broken download. again..
I'm 75 minutes in. Initial chat failed, got to 1 waiting and then it froze. Second time, got a rep from the Windows Up and Running Department who said he'd forward my chat to the update people. Out of time and I see from this chat that the update just doesn't work. Appreciate knowing I can't do anything about this until MS figures it out.
