Update KB5034441 fails to install

Thank you, but way too prone to disaster for me to try this. Based on past experience dating back to XP repair attempts and over 27 resulting full system recoveries. With varied success rates.

If I don't understand what I am doing, I trash my system when something's beyond my technical proficiency level. This DEFINITELY is. I have no clue of what most of these directions mean or what they do or how to/where to implement them. I am a "civilian."

As I mentioned in my update above, I contacted Microsoft Support and the agent advised not partitioning. I'll live without KB5034441 until they come with an update that installs without destroying my system. Though why the update fix/redo is taking so long puzzles me.

If MS thinks this is going to cause people to discard their non-compliant computers for a new computer with their new operating system in a time when inflation is soaring, they need to think again, this is going to cause people if they do anything to go with another computer manufacturer that does not use MS as their operating system. MS is showing its incompetents and demonstrates they do not care about customers that have used their products for years. MS is a disgrace. Perhaps installing Linux in place of MS operating system on a non-compliant computer is the answer.

for real it got so annoying at this point with all these windows 11 popups when starting my PC every damn time.. meanwhile 2 months have passed and the problem with this stupid update still exist..

All that being said. 90% of users are not even going to mess with partitions. We did not make the mistake, MS did. Out of those 90% probably 80% have no idea that have a bad update on PC and might be having problems such as loading much slower then before. I have removed it rather then have more problems messing with it and make a mistake. The other options have not worked. Even the partition for some does not work. MS needs to fix this. At least offer one as a replacement that does not cause errors to our system. MS then touts Windows 11 which has many more problems for others. Just a sign of if it ain't broke then don't fix it. Yet MS keeps on causing errors to a good working windows 10. No one asked for their partitions to be messed up and need to be moved or repaired by users. Trouble shooting Updates does not fix it. SFC/scannow does not work. Running DIM does not work. All that and more have been given as a fix on YT by others that have no idea whatsoever. Now its move partitions. Not even going to mess up PC more the MS has.
