Microsoft Sudoku has once again lost my progress on daily challenges. Please advise when this issue will be fixed and my progress will be restored.

Dear Watson. My problem seems to have resolved itself. my daily challenges is working ok but for my other problem i.e losing all my progress when reinstalling windows again is resolved or not, I have no idea because I have not yet reinstalled window again.
Like several others, I'm unable to get back into the daily challenges.
I tried downloading an update, but it won't open either.
This happened for 3 days once before and it came back up.
This time, IT'S BEEN WEEKS.
Also: After un-istallation the remaining results were destroyed as well.
