Click ok to terminate the programme.
I use windows 11 23h2 this happened after the latest update, and happens at shutdown.
sfc /scannow, ran it three times. I do not know what to place on the command line to run
DISM. DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth does NOT WORK. I am frustrated, and nerves are getting bad.
I am NEW to windows 11 and just installed it on my High End Gaming Computer. I am frustrated, after gaming, seeing this

I NEED HELP NOW please.
I cannot run DISM, till I get the correct command line sequence.
Thanks.

2024-11-24T18:29:09+00:00 Absolutely unbelievable that this is still an issue. But then you see how 24H2 is an absolute mess, and it shouldn't be surprising. I haven't reinstalled MSFS 2020 because of this issue, what, a year ago this error showed up? I certainly aint purchasing MSFS 2024...If your software causes my PC problems, your software is gone from my PC, even if I have to edit the registry to rid my PC of it....Fix your junk Microsoft. And way to screw over 1000's of Mixed Reality users, we're gonna be sitting on $600+ bricks. Whoever decided to kill WMR, outta be publicly flogged.

Unplug the Xbox controller.
(or)
Launch "Services.msc" and double-click “GameInput Service”
Set it to “Disabled” and click “Stop” to turn off the service if it’s running.

2024-07-24T15:11:05+00:00 Disabling the GameInput Service workaround seems to have worked for me as I haven't seen the error at shutdown for about a month now and I was getting it every time I gamed on the PC.
FYI: One caveat I have found in disabling the service using an XBox controller is that it appears to have disabled the XBox button on the controller within windows so you can no longer open the Game Bar using the controller button. You have to use 'Windows Key+G' instead but other than this I haven't encountered any other problems.

2024-06-12T21:15:18+00:00 Install Xbox and it's drivers/apps with that clean install? I did a clean install a few months ago, immediately uninstalled all Xbox related stuff from Win 11 Pro, still haven't seen the error again. It's Xbox.
