I use windows 11 23h2 this happened after the latest update, and happens at shutdown.
sfc /scannow, ran it three times. I do not know what to place on the command line to run
DISM. DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth does NOT WORK. I am frustrated, and nerves are getting bad.
I am NEW to windows 11 and just installed it on my High End Gaming Computer. I am frustrated, after gaming, seeing this
when I shut down.
I NEED HELP NOW please.
I cannot run DISM, till I get the correct command line sequence.
Thanks.

I wished I knew, I really wish I do.
Some say Xbox software is involved.
Just a guess.
I am not sure if the Devs, got a hold of this Matter.
Jury, is still out, on this one.
Cheers.
Any updates on this error? A new windows update came through today, installed and still persists every time I shut down. Funny how it's go the Microsoft devs stumped, it wouldn't happen on apple (don't own any devices btw).
Do we know what the culprit is, OneDrive? that's flaky too on and off.
Ta.
Wow! What a Concept!
I never thought you could run one Defender, with another, Malwarebytes.
I never thought that could be done.
I will check MalwareBytes, and see how that is done, without corrupting my system.
I ran UI Defender and it messes my system up so bad, I had to start Clean.
I am a bit edgy about runiing those two, but I might, dont know yet.
Has anyone really tried this?
I will wat for someone to go first and try this.
Better safe, than very sorry.
Anyone willing to do this?
Let me know how this comes out.
so I was also facing this and saw this thread of convo.
yesterday i figured out something and it somehow worked and I tried with and without it aswell.
So i installed malwarebytes and let it run with all the permission it wanted and tried the shutdown and the error was nowhere.
then i stopped malwarebytes from task manager and again did a shutdown and boom the error again showed up.
So i gave Window defender its all permissions so that it can work as a main anti-virus.
Conclusion is: when i keep malwarebytes running down there with window Defender that error never comes , no matter how much time I do a sign out , restart, shut down. Thats a temporary solution but for now it is working for me atleast.
