The Instruction at 0x00007FFBCEAC3ACA reference memory at 0x0000000000000024. The memory could not be written.

Click ok to terminate the programme.

I use windows 11 23h2 this happened after the latest update, and happens at shutdown.

sfc /scannow, ran it three times. I do not know what to place on the command line to run

DISM. DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth does NOT WORK. I am frustrated, and nerves are getting bad.

I am NEW to windows 11 and just installed it on my High End Gaming Computer. I am frustrated, after gaming, seeing this

when I shut down.

I NEED HELP NOW please.

I cannot run DISM, till I get the correct command line sequence.

    I wanted to try your fix but I am a bit hesitant to try it. I have windows home edition and even though you can install group policy editor on it - apparently on the home version it doesn't actually work properly. Some people have enabled it but doesn't actually change anything - so I am not sure if this fix will even work for me.

    Hi I am not that computer savvy and don't want to mess around with the group policy editor but would a simple script or bat file

    like this work

    taskkill /F /IM explorer.exe

    shutdown.exe /s /t 00

    So instead of pressing shutdown in windows just run .bat file and it would kill the explorer app and shutdown at the sametime.

    Could this work just as good????

    Edit: I redid these instructions on page 7, adding a line to kill the game input service to eliminate one last way the explorer crash will happen.

    Yes, I went as far as do a clean install, updated the updates that are needed, then, this.

    I spent hours!

    Like all of us here, I am waiting for a fix.

    However, How many times, I see this error box, I only see it when I shut down, but half the time.

    Still waiting.
