The Instruction at 0x00007FFBCEAC3ACA reference memory at 0x0000000000000024. The memory could not be written.

Click ok to terminate the programme.

I use windows 11 23h2 this happened after the latest update, and happens at shutdown.

sfc /scannow, ran it three times. I do not know what to place on the command line to run

DISM. DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth does NOT WORK. I am frustrated, and nerves are getting bad.

I am NEW to windows 11 and just installed it on my High End Gaming Computer. I am frustrated, after gaming, seeing this

when I shut down.

I NEED HELP NOW please.

I cannot run DISM, till I get the correct command line sequence.

    I can testify that the link I posted for the group policy editor enabling method does work for Win 11 home, because I've used it on the laptop I have with home edition, which ended up with the same explorer.exe issue. It's cool, I'm sure MS will eventually release a proper fix anyway.

    Okay, this is a way to totally eliminate the explorer.exe error message, regardless what’s plugged in, and whether you log off, shut down or restart the computer. It requires Win 10/11 PRO, or you need to enable group policy editor in home edition.

    You can find that hack here:

    Start by making a batch file that kills the explorer.exe process.

    Open notepad and paste in this line.

    taskkill /F /IM explorer.exe

    Save the file as Shut_Down_Script.bat or whatever you prefer to name it. Put somewhere safe, like your documents folder.

    Use WIN+R to run gpedit.msc (Group policy editor)

    In the left panel:

    Drill Down to Computer Policy > Windows Settings > Scripts (Startup/Shutdown)

    Double Click Shutdown in the right panel and click Add

    Browse to and highlight the batch file you made, and click open , then OK, and Ok again

    In the left panel:

    Drill Down to User Configuration > Windows Settings > Scripts (logon/Logoff)

    Double Click Logoff in the right panel and click Add

    Browse to and highlight the same batch file and click open, then OK, and OK again

    Close the editor. Done.

    I tried it, So Far its working
