Windows update (KB5034441) Error (0x80070643)

When I tried to install the windows update "2024-01 Security Update for Windows 10 Version 22H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5034441)" I received the error code (0x80070643).

I have already tried, restarting my computer, waiting a bit before retrying, running a memory diagnostic check, checking all my drivers for updates, installing optional updates, and running a malware scan.

When I tried to run the windows update troubleshooter it said "diagnosing problems" but never fixed them and I was still unable to install the update after running the trouble shooter.

Any help would be appreciated.

Then you must not have the available room on your System OS Partition to do a shrink further. This is possible. You may need to delete something or move it to make more room to shrink. Your size of 529 MB should be enough for the Recovery Partition. You can make it bigger like 1024 MB (this will be 1000 MB) - more than enough. Are you sure you are trying to shrink your OS Main System Partition? How much room do you have on your main OS Drive (usually C:) for data? You should have at least 50 GB. Did you try a shrink using Mini Tool Partition Manager? It is pretty easy to use. Did you verify your reagentc is really working with reagentc /info inside diskpart? You might want to take a screen snip of Create and Format Hard Disk Partition to see what kind of partition size is there.

This is a good video on how to do it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hlNtLcFqfOo

Sounds like you are not shrinking your OS Partition properly

It sounds exactly like a recovery partition before the EFI System Partition to me. Partition 1, disconnected from drive C. No point in shrinking C from the right end. It's that case KB5028997 just does not cover. You may put a lot of effort into shrinking and moving everything from the left end, but then why if shrinking can be avoided entirely.

I thank you. I uninstalled my virus protection that was blocking my camera.
