Desktop Windows Manager (DWM) memory leakage in Windows 10 (Version 2004).

The infamous dwm.exe hogging lots of memory. FYI this is not a specific program issue. It just happens with any programs, activities randomly.

I'm getting really tired of killing dwm.exe every so often so that it will release the occupied memory. When is this going to be fixed? Is this ever going to be fixed even?

    Hello Vladimir!

Windows rollout to me this driver.

Some hours before - Intel rollout new Intel Graphic Command Center - but dwm leaks contniues.

But! After installing this - my dwm - no more 100-100 mb. I hope it's windows developers update. Besides old version of driver all is worrkinig fine

Please read the Intel post, all discussed countless times. These old drivers will break modern standby, so you dont have working sleep anymore. So not a solution.

And how many units is affected by this? Millions? My whole company alone uses hp notebooks with the same problem - hundreds of notebooks

As I see it, every single laptop with iGPU newer or equal of HD620 and Windows 10 >=20h2. So mostly billions of devices. Intel just speaks of a "very small percentage" which is a disgusting lie.
