Will Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 support multiple monitors?

For example, one monitor for instruments, another for front view, one for left, and one for right?

This is opposed to one view being spread over two monitors.

You can span the display using Nvidia's Surround, which is part of the Nvidia control panel. 

There is something similar to this if you are using an AMD video card.

At present, FS2020 DOES NOT allow you to open new additional windows for separate instruments, views, etc., like it did in FSX.

Hopefully Microsoft will address this in the future, and make this benefit available, ... although I doubt it, because the software is designed to mainly run under an XBOX single window environment (using either a PC as in XBOX Beta for PC or on an XBOX console.)

I'm currently running FS2020 using three screens with a resolution of 5760 x 1200, and FS2020 runs fine across these three monitors which are in Nvidia's Surround (so it looks like one big, very wide screen monitor.) And this works great, EXCEPT it would be nice to be able to open up another window for just the instruments, like I could do under FSX. 

One of the trade-offs, of going with the much, much, much more advanced FS2020 software.

    Pressing Alt-G while hovering over the PFD or Garmin display will pop out the display into another window which can be moved to another monitor. Although you can't adjust the display's controls. So really quite useless.

    I have not been able to get ALT-G to work as you described.

    In which plane does this work?

    I have only tried the Cessna Citation Longitude so far.

    Initially, when I pressed the ALT-G, it toggled the Landing Gear.

    I checked the Keyboard Bindings, and G was assigned to Landing Gear, not ALT-G, but ALT-G in the Patch 1 version (1.7.14.0) of MSFS accepted ALT-G as toggle landing gear.

    I did a search for ALT-G and it was not assigned to any function?

    Any advice that you could give would be helpful.

    And that's really a shame because I'm sure the developers made millions off of this EXTREMELY over-hyped arcade game, that has GOOD world wide graphics (but not great - Not all major cities are detailed accurately or correctly, and the buildings all are generically generated buildings, with a few exceptions.)

    Just like with Microsoft Flight this will become another Microsoft Flop.

    The developers knew they were going to release it without the ability to undock windows for home cockpits. That's why no one could find any real answers to the question prior to launch.

    There was one video i found where one of the developers stated that multiple screens could be used for the home cockpit builders, however he didn't mention that it would be achieved by stretching the main screen which we all know is nowhere close to what is needed.

    Why would they avoid these questions prior to launch. Profit.

    They knew if they announced no multiple monitor support as has been expected out of every simulator for the last 20 years i know i would never have purchased it.

    I suspect this is true for a lot of serious simmers.

    I want my money back. this truly was a hyped up sim but is really only an arcade game at best.

    did i mention it has good scenery.( that will help you be a better pilot, Not)
