Will Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 support multiple monitors?

For example, one monitor for instruments, another for front view, one for left, and one for right?

This is opposed to one view being spread over two monitors.

You can span the display using Nvidia's Surround, which is part of the Nvidia control panel. 

There is something similar to this if you are using an AMD video card.

At present, FS2020 DOES NOT allow you to open new additional windows for separate instruments, views, etc., like it did in FSX.

Hopefully Microsoft will address this in the future, and make this benefit available, ... although I doubt it, because the software is designed to mainly run under an XBOX single window environment (using either a PC as in XBOX Beta for PC or on an XBOX console.)

I'm currently running FS2020 using three screens with a resolution of 5760 x 1200, and FS2020 runs fine across these three monitors which are in Nvidia's Surround (so it looks like one big, very wide screen monitor.) And this works great, EXCEPT it would be nice to be able to open up another window for just the instruments, like I could do under FSX. 

One of the trade-offs, of going with the much, much, much more advanced FS2020 software.

    This is not a thread that connects to MS developers to get that kind of info and in general they dont respond to those kind of queries anyway.

    adding on the previous request. and thinking that the answer is going to be that FS 2020 does not support independent multiple monitor (like we have it with previous versions). What is the development pipeline, when (if) would be implemented?

    Everyone,

    I think we're missing the point though here of the original post, .... which was a simple question of whether or not MSF2020 supports opening up additional screens on multiple monitors. 

    I think we all know the pluses and minuses of using NVidia's Surround Sound for MS Flight Simulator X, or X-Plane 11, etc, but in FSX, if you have multiple monitors, you could open up separate FSX windows and drag and place these onto other monitors, thus giving you 'true' side views looking out the cockpit at a 90 degree angle on your left and right monitor (as an example) and having the 'front' view on your main monitor directly in-front of you. Or adding a 4th or add'l monitor for just things like the instruments, or radios, or external views to watch your landings or take-offs, etc., etc.

    SO FAR, ... in FS2020, I have not been able to figure out how, (if even at all possible) you can open up new, separate windows, for different views on different monitors.  

    SO ... if someone knows how to do this, PLEASE let us know. Thank you!

    And thanks so much for all the great users on here who have taken the time to offer some great tips and advice on how to get the most out of FS2020.
