This is a summary of the cumulative updates released on September 8th for all the supported consumer releases of Windows 10.

  1. Windows 10 2004 - KB4571756 Build 19041.508
  2. Windows 10 1903 and 1909 - KB4574727, Build 18362.1082 and 18363.1082

Servicing Stack Updates

It is recommended to install Servicing stack updates before installing the cumulative updates. This update makes quality improvements to the servicing stack, which is the component that installs Windows updates. Servicing stack updates (SSU) makes sure that you have a robust and reliable servicing stack so that your devices can receive and install Microsoft updates.

    yes you can manually create a WindowsUpdate key.

    Thanks for the short story.  I think we're speaking apples and oranges here.  One has to do with a key while the other has to do with a whole folder in the registry.

    Perhaps I'm misinterpreting what you are saying. 

    Forgive me Reno if I seem short-fused lately.  All this searching for fixes has me upset and don't want to take it out on you by any means.  You are always so willing to be helpful to us all.  Thank You!

    this is a short story someone asked a news writer via Disqus Comments. The WindowsUpdate folder is not in the Registry. The author says yes you can manually create a WindowsUpdate key.

    and it is true. not a short story but a reality.

    I checked Mine is also not there. Maybe you have to create New> Key> name: WindowsUpdate manually in Path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Policies \ Microsoft \ Windows \ first. Back up the Registry first before editing. so that if an error occurs, you can Undo the changes as before.

    I'll look at the second article later as I only took a quick look.  Reno, you said "MAYBE" you have to create.......  --   I can't work on maybe's. 

    As of now, I'm not touching the registry with a ten-foot pole.

    That's quite a laundry list of errors.  Jeez.  Have you found anything to fix the errors???
