This is a summary of the cumulative updates released on September 8th for all the supported consumer releases of Windows 10.

Servicing Stack Updates

It is recommended to install Servicing stack updates before installing the cumulative updates. This update makes quality improvements to the servicing stack, which is the component that installs Windows updates. Servicing stack updates (SSU) makes sure that you have a robust and reliable servicing stack so that your devices can receive and install Microsoft updates.

    Not. that's not what i dislike. I don't like jokes too much. because many Microsoft Community members are asking about Windows 10. problems, making them confused. That is all.

    Reno, Copy That!  I Appreciate your honest answer. I've always used humor as a way to calm and distract myself from a tense or unpleasant situation.  It's a family trait. I just find that SOMETIMES, it helps to be able to laugh at a situation that I can't control.  It's either that, or totally express frustration.  I know I do both. 

    I truly understand the people here are trying to fix windows problems, and I'm one of them.  I will be much more careful in the future and stick to business. It may be hard for me, but I'll TRY MY BEST!!   I don't want to confuse us more than we already are!   We good??

    Thank you. I found this info on another site and the direct manual update worked perfectly for me!!!

    So ... for others, these links will definitely help resolve the issue!!!

    Updated. Facing network issue now. Can't even sign in to the device with any online account. I had tried :- Update router or usb driver ; reset network settings ; registry edit method; run troubleshoot diagnose; even reboot windows twice ; device mangement ;  run command prompt etc. every method I could see in the browsers. NOTHING WORKS.. HELP PLEASE,. ANYONE. All of my pro version apps were lost. ..😓😭😭

    Hi

    Run regedit.

    Select Run As Administrator.

    The Windows Update in the register file is still there. 

    And I did not know how it appear.

    Thank you mrdbeta.  I did exactly as above and this is my info - **still no WindowsUpdate there!**No clue.

    Guess I'll go watch SpongeBob Squarepants.. BTW, where did he go Reno?  :D
