Hi,

i think the latest update has removed the CsEnabled option and additional power plans aren't available...

plz help with it..

This very thing happened to me exactly. If you read the entire thread apparently Microsoft did away with that.

MS PLEASE BRING BACK THE POWER OPTIONS my surface is useless now.

The CsEnabled not available anymore for windows 10 v2004 but you can still restore all the power plans and power settings: DOWNLOAD

There is no need to use a command prompt or registry editor and all you need to do is just click on the batch file then it is fixed.

POWER SCHEMES FOLDER:

Power Saver & High Performance ~ To import the original windows power plans.

Ultimate Performance ~ This power plan is only to be used on higher-end PCs.

Restore Profile ~ To clear and reset the original Windows Power Profile.

POWER SETTINGS FOLDER:

Default Enable ~ To automatically restore all windows standard power settings.

Advanced Enable ~ To automatically restore all windows expert power settings.

Settings Disable ~ To automatically remove all the windows power settings.

Troubleshooter ~ To fix problems with power settings and conserve battery life.

DEFAULT & ADVANCED OPTIONS:

To manually enable or disable your own power settings by clicking on the reg files.

DIAGNOSE TOOLS:

A collection of diagnostic windows system power tools for fault-finding the issues.

    EDIT: Just found the other read me - no spaces in folder name. Gotcha!

    This looks like a potential solution for me. I have a HP ZBook with a core i7 10850 and a Quadro p2000 I think. So a decent laptop. But I can't utilise the full performance so it bugs me.

    I get these issues when trying your solution, any ideas? I'm fairly new to using these tools but I have in the past. No good at troubleshooting.

    @silichip-X, I tried a lot of your profile. After checking in Geekbench 5, they didnt bring any real improvement. Everything was still running fine until I installed your power profile "Ultimate". It rendered the PC unusable and crashes 10 seconds after bootup no matter what I did, safe mode or whatever...

    Even a reset didnt remove the issue. I'm sure the computer was damaged somehow as even after reinstalls and resets. The issue still came back. The computer was perfectly stable before installing the Ultimate power profile.

    Didn't have a chance to get back my data as well.. total loss... Use at your own risk!

    The ultimate performance profile was only intended to be used for high-powered CPU PC's but not for mid-range or low-end computers.

    Manufacturer: Alienware m17 R3

    Model: U3E1

    Processor: Intel Core i7-10875H 2.3GHz (8 Cores, 16 Threads) 10th Gen CPU

    Memory: DDR4 32GB 2666MHz RAM

    Display: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Super Max-P

    Screen: 17 Inch (300Hz High refresh-rate)

    Sensor: Tobii Eye-tracking Technology

    Hard Drive: 1TB PCIe M.2 SSD

    Cost me around three-and-a-half thousand pounds because I wanted the best...

    No risk with me as I'm using a top of the range very high-performance laptop! 😉

    My previous post on page 2 has the Windows official power scheme files with the CsEabled fix and is the only method that actually works!

    Hello, using the script ADVPO.bat from the youtube video I was able to "solve my problem". That is, I was not able to revert back to S3 sleep but I was able to disable the features of S0 sleep that were most annoying to me, for instance I disabled the "network connectivity when in standby" and the "allow away mode policy".

    Hope that helps somebody.
