When I start up the game it tells me to press any button to start. I press a button and then it tells me to insert the disk and press continue. I don't have a disk because I purchased the premium Deluxe Edition online it's bought-and-paid-for it says the game is installed but everytime I press continue it just pops up again please insert disc.

I am getting this problem now.... I had originally gotten the xbox game pass ultimate and downloaded the game and played it without issue. I changed my sub to standard xbox gamepass pc and i cant play MSFS. insert disc error. I fully deleted all files and reformatted the drive the files were on. Thinking the digital ownership thing my be conflicting. All downloaded again... still an issue...
Check that your Microsoft Store account and your Xbox account is on the same account. Having a different account active on the Xbox app caused the "insert disk" error for me. Switching to the same account fixed this.

My problem exactly. I had such trouble getting FS installed but Microsoft gave me to an agent who took control of my computer and actually installed the program. I've had several problems with FS to the point where I am asking for a refund. If I get the refund (and there's no guarantee although I have only owned this for two days) I''ll buy the product in about six months when the bugs are worked out of this obviously Beta version.
