Flight Simulator 2020 PC code edition is asking for start DVD despite of digital owner installed

Hello,

I ordered and installed the FS 2020 version with the PC code.

After FS 2020 I installed the digital owner add-on (can be only installed afterwards).

But when I start the FS 2020 then a screen is appearing to ask for a disk that I don't have.

What can I do to get it started?

Thank you, this should work for me. I‘ll keep that in mind if the digital ownership doesn‘t work anymore after game pass subscription ends.

    Microsoft Flight Simulator

Known Issue: Some users seeing a "Please insert the Microsoft Flight Simulator disc" error when launching the game on Windows 10.

Workaround: In order to play the game digitally on Windows 10, you will need to have the Digital Ownership File installed as it is required to grant the necessary permissions to play. If you already have this file installed and are running in to this error, please uninstall and reinstall this file only and this should resolve the issue. There is no need to uninstall the entire 127+GB base game files. Uninstalling this small 10MB file is all that will be needed.

I have a similar problem. Iinstalled the program from the discs and then the digital download but it is asking for the Game Disc. If it’s a case of uninstalling and reinstalling this small 10mb file, where is it located please?

Same problem for me. I managed to install fs2020 to my pc with game pass in microsoft store. I played it and upgraded the standart version ( that game pass has ) to premium deluxe for 85€ inside the fs2020. Now im unable to play it anymore because the game wants me to “instert a game disc” after launching the game.

any solutions? Or did I do something wrong?
