Flight Simulator 2020 PC code edition is asking for start DVD despite of digital owner installed

Hello,

I ordered and installed the FS 2020 version with the PC code.

After FS 2020 I installed the digital owner add-on (can be only installed afterwards).

But when I start the FS 2020 then a screen is appearing to ask for a disk that I don't have.

What can I do to get it started?

    Same problem here.

I bought the boxed version because it was cheaper in a store than online.

I entered the key to my account, installed FS from the store and it ask for a dvd.

Which i can't give because i don't have a dvd player in my computer.

The digital license and game is located in the Microsoft Store under games installed. I launch it from there.

There are many ways people come up with which works but for me I like to keep it simple.

I did mine this way so I won't have to turn off anything. i.e. firewall, anti-virus.

    Hi Sumit,

will it be possible to get the digital ownership also if you bought the retail Disc Version?

I pre-ordered the premium Deluxe edtion as boxed Version. The Problem is, ist only for Collection. I even don´t have a DVD drive, i´m using a shadow pc. As you can see in the screeshot of the comparison the digital ownership is not available in my Version.

If you put in your DVD1 it should work.

The Problem is, that you only get the "Digital Ownership" if you buy the digital Version from the Microsoft store.

I have the same Problem. Just bought the boxed premium Deluxe Version because of the booklet and for my Collection. Never intended to install it from the DVD. I have read that you Need to have Disk one in your drive to Play the game but thougt it wouldn't be nessesarry if you activate and download it from the store. Well, that's not the case….

Does anybody where to find this digital ownership file and how to uninstall / reinstall it?

I have the same "insert disk" message after installation and activation of FS2020 premium de luxe edition on my PC. I installed everything from the 10 DVD's, updated WIN10 and NVidia drivers etc etc. Changed the region, disabled the defender virus scanner.Checked the firewall (it allows FS2020 to pass), but till now nothing worked. I still have the mesaage to insert the disc. How annoying is that?

In addition I found that when you have the boxed dvd edition you need to insert the first dvd  to be able to start the sim. After I did this, it worked fine
