I get the same problem and I've tried everything that was suggested here. when the warning occurs my programs and web browser also freezes for 2-5 seconds, which is VERY annoying, especially while I'm gaming. Microsoft should really fix this fast.

2020-07-10T04:56:51+00:00 Hi, Don.
As you said in your message, after my windows.old folder disappeared, all the ESENT warnings are gone!!
Not a single ESENT message!
Thank you.
I have noticed that right after a restart you will see a group of 6 ESENT Warnings and you may see several of them widely scattered about at times but I was told to ignore them. I restart my computer once a week when I do my weekly back ups but most of the time during my waking from sleep sessions they are not there. My computer is running great. Now if MS would fix those damn aggravating push notifications about fixing MS accounts in Shared Experiences. I do not have even have that turned on.
Regards

2020-07-09T23:59:10+00:00 Hi, solr.
Finally, I was relieved from the ESENT mess after my windows.old folder disappeared!!
ESENT messages were telling me that the error occurs because of the type difference of the database.
Maybe while we have chance to reinstall old version of windows, new windows system was trying to access or check the windows.old folder.
Anyway, now after the windows.old folder had gone, I have seen none of ESENT messages so far.
Thank you.
