That option wasn't working when I originally posted, but Windows Store started working a couple of days later and eventually allowed the download. And at least various tech news sites are now reporting numerous issues with this latest update. Seems to only be a matter of time with Win10 patches, these days :-(

The 1909 update is showing as installed on 20 May under "update history" (see pic 1), but is not listed as an "installed update" (pic 2). "System recovery" says I can't go back to previous version as the last update was more than 10 days ago (but it was 7 days ago). I am suffering random freezes and have tried: driver updates, memory diagnostics, system file checker, disc check, reset virtual memory, clearing temp files and disabling AppXsvc (all recommended as fixes). But still getting the problem. So concluded it's related to the update. I want to roll back and then try reinstalling. But I can't as it's not listed. Advice please.
