Only known issue? Really? Can you not read what so many people have posted? Multiple "known" issues. Just because Microsoft does not want to acknowledge or help doesn't mean it isn't a "known" issue.

2020-05-25T04:50:14+00:00 I had a similar experience with my 1-1/2 year old ASUS laptop computer. I get the ASUS logo, then a white window frame flashes, then a blue screen with a message flashes (too quickly to read), then the computer restarts and freezes on the ASUS screen. I recorded the sequence with my cell phone Slo-Mo camera and the message is the standard - Update is 0% complete. Do not restart the computer, this will take a long time.
I restarted 3 times and the Recover App didn't show up. I have a recovery disk which I used to get into the Recover App but none of the options to restore or revert have worked. So it appears that I will have to reinstall Windows.
I should also point out that Windows Update has been trying to perform the same update every month for a year now and fails every time. This time it brought down the computer. If anyone has another suggestion please let me know.
