I am a real user and I understand how a BIOS update works (and how to install and run it). As an owner of an HP computer (Desktop_) I make use of the tools provided by HP FOR THAT PURPOSE.
I visit the website as follows: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers
I select the option that allows HP to identify my computer so:

It does so
and THEN I SELECTY MY PRODUCT AND look for BIOS UPDATES FOR MY COMPUTER and install the LATEST ONE THUSLY:
That would be the one for January 25th offered below:

Seriously, all this is just the 21st Century version of pumping gas, checking the oil, the water, and the air in the tires. You didn't need a mechanic for that and you don't for this.
