    Hi EleshPatel,

When you use the MCT, launch it, and then select "Upgrade This PC" and then follow the onscreen instructions. This is Not a "Clean Install" but it is as clean as you can get without losing all your files and Apps. that you have preinstalled to your system.

But still I would recommend to wait till it is offered to you by MS Under check for updates.

For those of you having problems installing the New Windows 10 May 2004 Update. This Link will take you to a MS Document that lists some of the known issues with the update.

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/release-information/status-windows-10-2004

I used the "Media Creation Tool" to install the update, and had NO problems. I do not recommend the Update Assistant at his time. If you still see problems I recommend for you to wait awhile till you update.

I Hope This Helps Some of you.

Hello, I am trying to install this update (Win 10 May 2020 update 2004) on my PC. However, it fails with BSOD - Inaccessible Boot Device and then rolls back. I have executed setupdiag.exe and inspected the logs - setupact.log and setuperr.log. This has narrowed down the error to this:

"CMXEPlugin::StopTimedExecution: SxsMigPlugin.dll:ApplySuccess - plugin call exceeded maximum running time"

The maximum time allowed for these migration plugins is 45 minutes and on my configuration it is not enough for this plugin to finish.

How can I increase these 45 minutes to, let us say, 90 minutes, so that the update succeeds?

If it's the laptop, it would be nice to have one from the manufacturer of particular device, not the part manufacturer.
