Windows 10 May 2020 update is now available

I installed this update and am have a whole host of problems. Unfortunately when i installed it it was a clean install so there is no option to uninstall the update and go to an earlier update, I do have a copy of the November 2019 Update on a thumb drive, how can I install it without losing my apps and files? Again I do not have the option in the "Uninstall Update" windows to go back to an earlier update because there is no earlier update on my computer, the earlier update is on a flash drive.

I selected "Checking for Windows Updates" and two updates were applied successfully (KB4561600 & KB4552925) to my Dell Desktop computer.   It appeared that a version upgrade was occurring, as the update took a very long time.   Afterwards, it shows that the computer is Version 10.0.19041 Build 19041.  Since then, I have had the BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) occur at least 2 times, while on the Internet and the computer reboots.

Afterwards, I have the System Information File and a SPECCY Snapshot, collected after the last BSOD.   The next morning (6/14/2020), I tried to restore back to before the updates; but, it failed stating that possibly an antivirus software was causing issues.  So, I stopped Bitdefender from running and tried to restore once more, with the same, with the same message.

The computer is working fine; but, I can't know when another BSOD will occur (possibly during a financial transaction?!)  Please, advise.

I would post others as soon as I get more information about others.

I just used that link and checked to see if my Dell laptop was listed for Windows 10, Version 2004. It wasn't for some reason. I do have the notification in Windows Update that my laptop isn't quite ready for Windows 10, Version 2004.

I decided to check and see if my Dell laptop had been listed for the Windows 10, Version 1909. It wasn't listed for  that update, either. 

The thing is that Dell stated that if the model laptop wasn't listed then that meant they wouldn't be testing it.

However, Windows Update did give me the upgrade automatically for Windows 10, Version 1909 OS Build 18363.900. I had no problems whatsoever with the upgrade, and it is working fine.

Windows Update also automatically added the update yesterday for the new Edge Browser. I went ahead and let it download. I'm using it right now and I have had no problems whatsoever with the new browser.

So here's my deal. Even though my laptop wasn't tested or listed at the Dell website as being tested, Windows 10, Version 1909 was still offered to me through Windows Update. 

Now, I have the message that my laptop isn't quite ready for Windows 10, Version 2004. I know that it says it isn't quite ready. But apparently since Dell didn't list my laptop as being one tested that it may not have been quite ready for Windows 10, Version 1909, either. However Windows Update gave me the upgrade automatically.

I've seen a lot people posting that have taken the upgrade for Windows 10, Version 2004 where it automatically showed up in Windows Update, and after downloading it, they've had tons of problems including the screen of death, losing their options to power off and no restart, losing their sound whether it had to do with Conexant SmartAudio or not, and their PC's or laptops no longer booting up at all.

What this tells me is that even if someone is offered the Windows 10, Version 2004 upgrade automatically through Windows Update that people are having a hellacious bunch of problems including it ruining their PC's or Laptops, etc.

Perhaps Microsoft should have waited a little longer instead of being in a rush to offer the upgrade to Version 2004. Some people are receiving this upgrade automatically through Windows Update, and apparently, it may not be ready after all. 

I'm left with the conclusion that people just have to take a chance with the 2004 upgrade, and pray it doesn't destroy their PC's or laptops.
