Audio and video pause automatically (and sometimes pause and play) only when I use an internal (Youtube, google) or 3rd party software (windows media player, VLC, films &TVs ). It happens only when I am playing a video or audio. No virus (after scan) Since the spacebar key is usually associated with play & pause, I tried typing something in MS word. I did not see any auto space being generated between 2 letters. (tested for 5 mins) Autoplay and pause (sometimes just pause) occur maybe after 20 seconds. (it is random) I can actually see the virtual pause and play button is toggled. (no other error message is shown, it happens as if I am physically pressing the spacebar key. issues in Windows 10 7. the window also very lag when it happening Driver issues? Which driver is it? Any suggestions or experiences? Please share your thoughts.

I'm glad I found this thread. It feels like my issue is similar, so I'm posting here, instead of starting a new thread. I built a new desktop set up almost a year ago. I built it mainly for music production, but I use it for every day use as well, i.e., emails, surfing, etc., nothing fancy. I am a musician, so one thing that I enjoy doing, is playing backing tracks on Youtube, and playing over top of them through Studio One 4 Pro. For months, I had no problems at all. Then, one day, while taking a course on Udemy, the videos would play for about 5 minutes, then the buffer wheel would start to spin. A box would eventually pop up saying that "they tried multiple times to play the video, but were unsuccessful, please reset your computer". Or something along those lines. So, now it happens every time I'm watching a course video, or a Youtube video. Makes me want to throw the damn computer out the window. Having to reset my computer every single time means resetting all my recording software, etc. etc, and is a super pain in my ****. I've tried refreshing the site, or closing it out and re-entering, but nothing works. I built a fairly decent computer, and I figured I definitely wouldn't have to worry about these stupid types of issues. I also have a cheap $300 laptop, and I can watch videos on that thing all day long! I've tried updating drivers. I do have a wireless keyboard and mouse, and I never thought of those being a problem?? Other than that, the computer I built shouldn't be having these ridiculous problems. I've searched online for hours trying to figure out what is going on, and have been unsuccessful so far. Does anyone have any idea what I can do to fix this??? Please help. Btw, my computer build exists of ....MSI MPG X570 Board / Corsair RM 550X Power Supply / Ryzen 3 2nd Gen Processor w/ Radeon Graphics / Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 16GB 3600Hz Memory / WD Blue SSD 500GB.

I have a Denon Home 150 speaker connected to my computer through Bluetooth. I'll try disconnecting that. All of my videos have been pausing recently and it's been maddening. I have a Dell XPS-15-7590 laptop with Windows 10. All drivers and updates applied.

Thank you for the reply. It has been awhile since I have changed batteries. I did find a work around also, not a fix. If you put video on mute and then pause, it will start once again but this time when you pause, it stays paused.

Facing same issue. Used keyboard test and some undefined key getting pressed. The key for video-play-pause is f10 (without Fn), which when pressed shows as undefined. Did you find a solution for this problem?

I had the same issue and it is solved after i disconnected my Bluetooth Speaker from Denon.
