Cumulative updates - April 14 2020

I can't Install KB4549951, I get Error 0x80073701, I've tried running System File Checker and other suggested methods to fix it that I've found but nothing seems to work, I really don't want to do a fresh install, Hopefully this can be fixed soon

I would be happier if everything rolled back to XP... Lol At least with XP, you weren't forced an update, and you could basically wait to update your computer AFTER Microsoft pulls out all of the bugs they left in it before they rolled it out!

Now, I notice #KB4551762 won't even let me uninstall it. I guess it's just time to switch to Linux.

I had subscribed to another thread/feed here on the community forum regarding issues with updates.  That thread was closed not too long ago, as though Microsoft considered the issue "settled", or just did not want the thread/feed to continue.  Much like this feed, that one had plenty of not-nice-things to say about these updates, and there were plenty of users having massive amounts of problems with their PC's/devices afterwards.  I see that whomever is bothering to read any of them (or are they just Bots?), is doing the same thing as in the other group.  That is, seemingly, and randomly posting a list of links to click on and follow, in response to their "oh gee, we screwed up yet again on updates".  It would be nice if someone who knew what the in they were doing-would actually give real-world answers to the messes they cause.  But, as many have indicated, I do not think anyone at Microsoft even reads these posts.  Does anyone know of a Microsoft/Windows 10 alternative, because this is my last one.  I have "paused" updates, wrote the date down, and like last time ( few weeks ago), made sure to extend the "pause" (which I was "allowed" to do that time) for as long as I could.  I do not want to buy another Windows 10 when they either break this one for good, or it wears out.  Whichever comes first.
