zoom and windows 10 - microphone and speaker drop off

I am trying to use zoom on my Windows 10 HP laptop, but the microphone and speaker drop off after just a short time.  My speaker is a "Realtek".  What settings should I be using?  I have both the speaker and microphone set to work with the app.

    I had 2 settings for Zoom as well, but one says Zoom Cloud

    The mic is incorporated in my LogiTech camera so that's what I chose for Input. Apparently I had RealTek Digital, which I changed to Speakers RealTek Audio. That "unchecked" the Digital icon in the Audio Manager.  However, I still get nothing out of my Logi speakers in Zoom.  If I select Headset, the earphones work.

    Strangely, under Advanced I see this:

    Not sure why there 2 control setting dialogs for Zoom.

    At least I'm back to where I was a few days ago.

    Sorry to say I don't know how to get to microphone properties. Should this be available somewhere in the HD Audio Manager dialog?

    To be honest, I've been poking around with this issue for nearly a week and still can't understand how to use the audio manager, either the one provided by ASUS or the Windows one. E.g., right now this is what it looks like:

    It's showing Digital Output, and I don't think that's what i want, but I have no idea how to uncheck it! And it's not just me. There are countless reports of others struggling with this issue. Upshot is my Windows 10 machine worked fine with Zoom a couple months ago and now it doesn't and I don't know how to fix it.

    Yes, I did that. That brings up the dialog shown in the included screenshot. The title of that dialog is ASUS RealTek HD Audio Manager. Is that the title you are referring to? It has no ^ at the end.

    BTW, what computers were you "around" in 1952? My first computer usage was at UCLA in 1961, a Bendix G15. Also learned how to use a mechanical differential analyzer. After graduation in 1962 I went to Rocketdyne and worked a lot with the IBM 7090 and modern analog computer.  Retired but still do lots of software development.
