Hi there,
While you cannot return to S mode once you've switched out, many of S mode's protections can be enabled through the Windows Security app and settings. Please try enabling those protections whether your PC is currently in S mode or not.
I want s mode back plz i just turned it off so i can do homework but apparently I did not need to.
You cannot get s-mode back, without reinsalling windows, if you want to do that, look at my reply to Dibranbasha’s post on october 25 2020

okay but i tried to reinstall windows and do a factory reset and it wont let me because it says i dont have enough space. ive only had the computer for 2 weeks and have uninstalled everything i downloaded since i got it and it still wont work reset to s mode.

Hello, I'm very worried about my lap top's security and it not being in S mode. I wasn't aware that I could not redo it. Is there any way to get it back? especially without me having to pay/buy anything?
Hi there, Jon. Switching out of S mode is a one-way operation; once you've switched, you cannot return to S mode.
A full re-installation of Windows from a recovery image that includes deletion of all System partitions has been recommended by some Support professionals, but in general, you cannot return to S mode once you've switched.
