Why is Windows 10 Bluetooth so so so bad ?

I am sick of connecting through Bluetooth on my Windows 10

  1. Disconnects automatically randomly
  2. Bluetooth is on but can't connect to the device because it tells that your bluetooth is off.
  3. Devices appear when bluetooth is toggled off, disappear when toggled on.
  4. Nothing happens no matter what you try. The only solution is to restart your device.
  5. After restarting, works for some time. Then randomly ... (please start from point 1 again).

I am so sick of this happening everytime. How can it be so bad? Is Microsoft doing absolutely nothing to fix this.

It makes me want to throw my laptop and pull out my hair. Then I remember, how stupid of me. This has got to do with my Windows, software. How will throwing my laptop help. And then I remember again; if it's a software - it can be fixed! Fix it please!! You made such a huge operating system, you can maybe fix a bluetooth.

PS - I'll check this thread later. I need to restart my system again, need to connect to bluetooth

    Windows device support just plane sucks!!!

    Spent 2 God Damn hours today trying to get my HP printer with 5 trays of various types and sized of paper to just let me pick from 1 GOD DAMN Tray. Nope. Windows is apparently far better than I in determining the correct tray to print from. Why would we let you try to pick the tray you want to use. You are an idiot! You cannot be entrusted to pick such things.

    Oh and the bluetooth device that you have laying across your keyboard. Yeah, I don't see that. I don't care that you phone sees it, nor your iPad. It doesn't exist, because you Z-book running Windows 11 doesn't see it.

    Microsoft. YOUR OS SUCKS!!!!!! LEAVE THE GOD DAMN THING ALONE!!! I HAD BETTER LUCK WITH WINDOWS 7 than anything since. Quit **** it all up. Every year you try to make the damn thing smarter, and just.... DIFFERENT. and Every GOD DAMN year, it only gets worse. LEAVE IT THE **** ALONE!

    I have to re-pair my xbox controller EVERY time i want to use it on Win 11, was also like this on Win 10. It just wont connect normally, it works perfectly fine anywhere else, from my tablet, to phone to xbox. I went so far as to buy a DualSense controller and DSX on Steam. I wholeheartedly recommend getting the DualSense and DSX program, even the haptic feedback works(which i can customize to no end) and i can change colorways and all kinds of nice stuff. It evens connect without me having to re-pair and reconfigure every time! :)

    Solution for me in regards to Windows scuffed BT with Xbox controller: Buy Playstation Controller and DSX program instead.

    i even bought a bluetooth 5.0 dongle thinking it might solve this issue but it's still the same. total waste. never had such issues on mac.

    Ok, sorted my bluetooth out. I think chronic PC bluetoothiness is a result of poor shielding by the mobo builders. Plus a lack of requirements communication with the bluetooth chipset providers, like Intel. They bang it together and move on, whereas the Mac is vertically integrated. It's BT is spotless.

    Solution:

    I bought an ASUS BT500, plugged it into my USB socket on the front (I suspect this is important). Now all my devices that could not connect subsequently connected fine. I had to turn off the mobo Intel BT device. I have windows 11 and it recognized the BT500 device immediately, no need for me to download drivers separately. Your mileage may vary.
