You can postpone the updates and just keep pushing the date further back. Then when a rerelease is issued and it is proven to work switch updates back on.

2020-03-23T13:03:39+00:00 I learned a long time ago the first thing you do with a new pc running windows is to make a recovery bootable thumb drive and take another usb drive and get the clean copy of windows from microsoft's website create media tool, just in case it's f'd in the original version. I've got four thumb drives for an all in one and one tower.
