Hey, Cassandra, I do believe that that is what everyone has done, and why there are as of today, 21,002 computers crashed from doing it.  So no fix yet.  Like I said I did not do anything with that 1909 Feature Update, JUST PAUSED MY UPDATES, and until I hear otherwise or when I am able to get through to Microsoft Support, they will not get installed.  Can you imagine the phones calls Microsoft is getting?  If since I did my post, in March after the Cumulative Update came out on March 10th, we are still getting posts from people who are still having trouble with that 1909.  FYI:  I am also noting what ones are failing. KB4541335, KB4541338, KB4551762.  So I am prepared to Pause again if any of them try to Download or Install.

Sorry, Casandra.  Not Some have problems with this Update.  Last count was 19,313. Now it is 20,555.

So there definitely is a problem with this one.  And everyone has a different System.  Mine is a Dell 1545 Lap Top which has not had problems in the past and I don't want problems now. Doing the Winver, it has Version 1903  18362.720 as of 2019.

    Cassandra,

I have not successfully installed any Cumulative update since mid to late March.

I get the same error every time - 0x800f081f.

I have tried all the suggestions I could find to get updates working again with no resolve.

      I have turned updates off.

Actually, I am one of the lucky ones, some of those that were able to get some of these recent updates to install, have suffered from myriad of issues....sound, keyboard, drives and in some cases the inability to boot.

Someone recently had posted that this is public forum and NOT a Microsoft help line, my question for that person is why is the URL "answers.microsoft.com"?

    Bob.
