windows 8.1 upgrade to windows 10 pirated
Hello,
My laptop came with windows 8.1; I had to upgrade it to windows 10 for adobe creative cloud since creative cloud soft wares dont work on windows 8.1(THIS IS NOT FAIR). The tech person upgraded my genuine windows to Windows 10 cracked version. I didn't know but I can see from the appearance of it. It does not sound genuine. My question is, I once upgraded my genuine windows to windows10 for free then the tech guy down graded it to windows 8.1 again. So is there any record of my older windows 10 key I can re install on my system? Plus they put ssd and hdd both on my system when i asked for increasing my ram since i have 4g ram i wanted to add 4g more or adobe cc softwares to work fine. SO do u think my windows 8.1 key will still be embedded and I can reinstall it?

Hi FireFly9
If that says Windows 8 Pro, then you already have the correct edition installed. If you do suspect that is not a genuine copy, then you should backup your data and clean install Windows 10 Pro . . .
Thanks.
No run then one by one.
Hi FireFly9
The edition that was installed during the free upgrade period would have matched your WIndows 8.1 edition
I cannot be 100% sure your WIndows is legitimate, because there are many, many ways t crack WIndows
Yes, if you have Windows 10 installed, you are entitled to all new versions free of charge . . .

>"There are several Ads, this is tricky, which to click."
No, it's not so tricky. Do NOT click any of those ads, and if some page offer something like "This app will keep your drivers updated automatic.", do not install any of this apps..
Normally some common network adapter like Realtek or Gibyte, as well as some common Nvidia, AMD or Intel HD graphics display adapter are offered good drivers by Windows Update. If you have any problems with those or you have some special / expencive display adapter for gaming then manufacturer latest drivers may be better.
Time to time I run Dell SupportAssist on my lpatops to see if there is any new BIOS or mobo chipset drivers available, but normally I am happy Windows update. Only exception is my Dell Precision which I have Intel HD graphichs and AMD FirePro display adapters. For that AMD adapter I use manufacturer own drivers.
