How do I unistall the Microsoft Edge "Update"

How do I uninstall the Microsoft Edge "Update" on my computer?  I accidentally installed it and I don't even use Microsoft Edge.  I know I can't uninstall Microsoft Edge, but hopefully I can at least uninstall the Update.  It really, really stinks Microsoft forces people to have Edge on their computer because it just takes up storage space, slows your computer down and the browser tracks your surfing history.

    TOTALLY AGREE !!!!!!  Last time I checked   I PAID for my computer...... they DID NOT......yet they FORCE stuff on you that you DO NOT WANT !!!!!!

    Okay, all is not lost.  After a few attempts to contact Microsoft, and waiting on hold forever, I decided to give them one more try.  EUREKA!  I connected with them online, left my phone number, and they called me back.  I gave them permission to access my computer, and the representative took it from there.  There was a lot for the system to do once we ended our phone call, and some of his instructions as to what would happen did not happen, but all in all, I was able to figure it out.  It reverts back to the Legacy version.  Call them directly at 1-800-642-7676 but be prepared to spend a lot of time waiting on the phone.

    You are absolutely right! I hate Edge, but can't get rid of it. I was alot happier with simple internet explorer. If you do come accross some way to get rid of it or even the edge update, I'd love to know how. Mitch
