How to remove the Unknown Locale(qaa-latn) language

Hi. After I updated the Windows 10 ,there is a keyboard selection on the keyboard list called Unknown Locale (qaa-latn).I don't know what is that stuff and why is it displayed there. Can anyone tell me what is that and how can I remove it. Thank you.

Hello,

I used this commands on powershell and it worked. It basically keeps the chosen keyboards, so others (qab-latn, qaa-latn, ...)  should disappear. 

First right-click on powershell and run as administrator, then type:

> Get-WinUserLanguageList

> Set-WinUserLanguageList en-US, fa

> Y

(You don't need to be careful about capitals. choose your needed keyboards, mine were English and Persian)

    Hello Dave, I know that this reply is after your reply by about 10 months, but I have the same problem, however when I type qaa-latn nothing shows up, there is no such language like this in Microsoft or Windows, maybe Saganash added it as a bug because Microsoft was just too perfect in a way that causes head ache 🤨, anyways, is there another way to remove a language?

    There really is a very simple solution.

    1. Run Power Shell as an administrator.
    2. Execute 'Set-WinUserLanguageList en-US -Force'.

    NB: Languages added so far may disappear.

    1. Add what you need.

    Of course, solving this problem is neither mine nor yours job to handle. It is up to Microsoft to take care of preventing the use of Windows from interfering with the normal use of the machine on which it is installed.

    Usually I am a Linux guy for more than 10 years. I'm saying this because my job forced me to work with Windows. For the last year I can't count how many times I had to reinstall Windows and looking for a solution for crappy **** like these after an update.

    I'm sorry, Bill, but you've been dragging problems since 95.

    Win10 it is like Win95 but with HTML5 and SASS, same **** different pakedge.

    I really believe you can do it, but with new products.

    You have done AMAZING work with MVS!
