Additional Information for users hitting temporary profile issue on 21/02/2020:
Microsoft is aware of some customers logging into temporary profile after installing KB4532693, on both versions 1903 and 1909.
*To boot into Safe mode, Click Shift+Restart button on the login screen, select Advanced options>Startup Settings>Select 1 for the booting to safe mode. Restarting the computer should start the computer in normal mode. For booting into Safe mode, you would be asked for a password instead of a PIN if you have set.

A lot of us have the same problem.
I just tried an experiment with backup software and it worked.
What I did was backup my user folder (that is the folder with you name) to An external Drive. Then I updated the Computer With KB4532693 after Updating the computer I restored My Folder backup To The original Location Then Restarted My Computer.
And Great joy it worked now my Computer is back to normal everything is where it should be and windows is now Ver 18363.657

Brand New 3 day old Win pro HP Envy started running and booting real slowly. Post boot black circle screens. Desktop and browsers not refreshing, network or drive shares with not connected red x until selected and sometimes no identification of micriSD 8gb inserted. Lethargic. I noticed if I created a text file it would not show on desktop nor folder nor deleted folder unless manually refreshed by command. If deleted it would just go without asking to deleted folder but still show on desktop.
Uninstalled and now auto refreshes folder creations, new files. Looks like it reboots like an ssd HD again. I rebooted once more to make sure the boot had a proper cycle. Slowed faster post black screen. But blue circle startup screen was long. "Restarting"...
Now a microSD chip identified itself on insertion into side slot but indicates no content. Hope it did not kill old info before when it wouldn't even pop up an "please insert a disk into removable.." notice.
Hope it's not reinstall Monday...
Now this is epic.
