StartUpCheckLibrary.dll missing!

After upgrading my machine to Windows 10, 1909, the following window pops up every time I turn on my PC

HOW CAN I SOLVE THIS?

Windows for home | Windows 10 | Windows update

To remove the StartupCheckLibrary.dll error, first download Autoruns:

https://live.sysinternals.com/Autoruns.exe

  • Run Autoruns.exe as administrator.
  • In the Filterbox up top Enter: startupcheck
  • You should see a Task Scheduler entry:\Microsoft\Windows\Application Experience\StartupCheckLibrary
  • Right click on this entry and Delete.

...and that's the end of the error.

BTW Ignore any advice that recommends restoring this dll from quarantine. It's a CoinMiner and you really don't want it!

    what if it is antivirus Bullguard? ive got the same issue but also have another one: ''winscomrssrv.dll''. 

    I also have the same issue... and i am noticing whenever i put my laptop charger on then only i get these two dll error and i have noticed slower startup times now. Please help!

    Hi Joseph,

    I have Windows Security too. The StartUpCheckLibrary.dll was on quarantine because it had a virus (Trojan:Win32/Tiggre!plock) so I removed the threat and it deleted that dll and winscomrssrv.dll (who was affected by the Trojan too) and then the windows with the "missing files" messages began to pop up. I solved the window pop up of the winscomrssrv.dll by using the autoruns for windows that I got from another post in the community (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/autoruns).

    I'm almost sure that by deleting the reference in the autoruns the problem will be solved but, should I do that? I mean, wolud it affect my OS in any way?
