My Microsoft Order is still Pending

So i ordered a Surface laptop 3 on December 1st, and I know that is black Friday so there were probably a lot of orders but i would love to have some sort of reassurance that my item will be delivered on time. It's been stuck in pending literally since i hit purchase and it says that the estimated delivery date is Dec 12, but that's in three days, and i highly doubt it'll get here by then if it still hasn't shipped. I have a trip to go on a few days after it's supposed to arrive and it would be nice to have my new laptop for it.

Why doesn't Microsoft do better with the orders page? It should tell you if there's an issue or if it's sold out or if there's just a high volume of orders and that it may not arrive on time. I'd feel much better if it just gave me something, like Amazon does. 

Anyway, is there any way to find out the true status, more than just a lousy "pending"? And maybe a eay to ensure it gets here sooner, like pay a little extra?

    My Xbox series  S has been in pending for 7 days now I'm very confused about what's going on I read some articles but they don't fit my situation.  Hopefully, this problem gets fixed.

    [Full story] On Thursday, June 10, 2021, I had ordered an Xbox Series  S and an Xbox Wireless Controller -Pulse Red when both of them were in stock. Three days later I got an email saying on Thursday, June 10, 2021. Unfortunately, we aren't able to authorize the selected way to pay for your Microsoft order.  but my account was already charged. Then at 6/15/2021 3:57 PM my Xbox Wireless Controller -Pulse Red arrived but my Xbox didn't and my Xbox Series S is still pending.

    I ordered my Xbox 3 days ago and it still shows pending and they took the money. Did u get ur Xbox?

    Pending just means that your order has been received and is waiting to be processed/shipped. 

    When I ordered my series x my order was pending for a few days until they shipped it and the payment went through to completion.

    It may take a few days but as long as your order says pending just wait is all you can really do until they decide to ship it.

    Normally, order with pending status means that the payment isn't yet received by Microsoft also, it might be still pending on your bank statement waiting for authorization. You can try double checking on your bank and contacting them to authorize your purchase so that the payment will go through and your order to be fully processed. Hope this helps! :)
