So i ordered a Surface laptop 3 on December 1st, and I know that is black Friday so there were probably a lot of orders but i would love to have some sort of reassurance that my item will be delivered on time. It's been stuck in pending literally since i hit purchase and it says that the estimated delivery date is Dec 12, but that's in three days, and i highly doubt it'll get here by then if it still hasn't shipped. I have a trip to go on a few days after it's supposed to arrive and it would be nice to have my new laptop for it.
Why doesn't Microsoft do better with the orders page? It should tell you if there's an issue or if it's sold out or if there's just a high volume of orders and that it may not arrive on time. I'd feel much better if it just gave me something, like Amazon does.
Anyway, is there any way to find out the true status, more than just a lousy "pending"? And maybe a eay to ensure it gets here sooner, like pay a little extra?

I had ordered an Xbox controller on Saturday March 28, 2020. Its been 3 days and the orders still pending, but i’ve been charged already. I just want my controller man.
This is probably very random but im just curious... did they ever end up shipping your order? Im having the same problem with a controller i ordered almost a week ago and its still pending but already been charged :/
There is no preorder option for these controllers. They've been out for a while now. They might be on backorder but it won't say that on the store.
When you order an Elite Series 2 Controller you cannot return it for a refund until you have received it. Even if it's still in the warehouse waiting to be shipped, you have to wait for it to be delivered to you before you can start the refund process.
Like said try calling least maybe then they can its pre order makes different they should say it is i already fought with them statin they should put there pre order it says buy not pre order
If your order is still pending and hasn't been shipped yet, you can't request a refund. You have to wait until you get the controller before you can get a refund. I know it sounds really stupid but that's how Microsoft handles the orders for these controllers.
And u can tell bank stop action but I can't state when ull get money back people have had problems doin that to
