So i ordered a Surface laptop 3 on December 1st, and I know that is black Friday so there were probably a lot of orders but i would love to have some sort of reassurance that my item will be delivered on time. It's been stuck in pending literally since i hit purchase and it says that the estimated delivery date is Dec 12, but that's in three days, and i highly doubt it'll get here by then if it still hasn't shipped. I have a trip to go on a few days after it's supposed to arrive and it would be nice to have my new laptop for it.
Why doesn't Microsoft do better with the orders page? It should tell you if there's an issue or if it's sold out or if there's just a high volume of orders and that it may not arrive on time. I'd feel much better if it just gave me something, like Amazon does.
Anyway, is there any way to find out the true status, more than just a lousy "pending"? And maybe a eay to ensure it gets here sooner, like pay a little extra?

2020-06-11T18:58:12+00:00 I ordered a couple Xbox One Play and Charge Kits. The order has been Pending for a week now. If I can get it somewhere else is there any way to cancel the pending order at the Microsoft Store? I can't find any option there to do it.
Has anyone ordered and received the Xbox One Play and Charge Kit recently? If so how long did it take to get it?
Update:
I just called called the Microsoft Store support. They gave me a June 16 date. I guess I'll wait a few more weeks to see if I here anything more.
I just got a shipment notification from the Microsoft Store on June 11. The two Xbox One Play and Charge Kits are expected to be delivered on Tuesday June 16.
Update:
The Xbox One Play and Charge Kits were delivered by UPS today Friday June 12 at 11am.****

2020-06-09T08:44:38+00:00 Ordered an elite 2 controller on a frisay around midday maybe a bit later. Its late Tuesday morning now and its still pending which i assume means it hasnt been shipped. Its scheduled to arrive in a couple of days but somehow i dont really see that happening
