Dear Lynne,
I'd move ALL my photos to an external source such as an external hard drive or a web based server such as Snapfish or something to protect them from losing them all together. Photos are a precious commodity. I've started even printing them off through
Snapfish just in case my external drive, the cloud and SnapFish go belly up. In today's world and changes being made to Social Media, Microsoft, Google etc. I'm not going to be caught without my memories!
I came to my computer this morning and it had also downloaded and was "finishing" as I went to work this morning. Slow booting up and slow on some of my programs. I had Microsoft365 take over my computer because it was showing that my OneDrive was full
when my subscription said otherwise. He did some stuff and then before hanging up he told me to re-start my machine. I did that and it took 2 1/2 hours to reboot! It's been back to the old slowness again after I got it fixed from the first time I replied.
I'm scrapping this hard drive and going brand new with a SSD with brand new download of Microsoft365 to see if that helps. GRRRR! Not doing it myself, paying someone to do it for me. Reminds me of Apple and their "slow down" updates that force you to purchase
updated equipment...which my version of this HP is only 2 years old!
