@Coleman0708 the original post is about 255% showing when a battery is not inserted. Try removing it and you will see that the "255% available" will (most likely) appear.

2020-01-01T22:24:56+00:00 I just got this fixed on my end, have had the 255% issue for a couple of days now.
- Powered down the PC and held the power button down for 30 seconds.
- Removed the battery and restarted the computer.
- Let the computer boot back up and everything loaded.
- Re inserted the battery while the PC was still on and running. It immediately started charging and the 255% went away. Have restarted multiple times and its still fixed.

I never knew that this is a bug affecting this issue. I haven't been faced with this issue yet. Have you gone to the feedback hub and search to see if anyone sent a feedback regards to this issue? If there isn't any feedback regards to this issue, that means it might not be a bug.

I don't know how to help you since I do not have that issue before. But you can try creating a new user account or scan your system for corrupted files. Please give it a try.

Why is yours having an x? Mine doesn't. Was it plugged in? Have you tried searching online for your driver? I am using an Acer laptop too. What is your device model? Have you contacted Acer?
