    Hi, I had the same issue on my Acer 5755G on Windows 10 and what helped me was removing the battery from the Device Manager and rescanning the hardware changes. The battery indicator is back to normal.

    It happens when ur battery is not inserted and when your charger is what is keeping your pc awake.

    The battery level issue when not installed has been solved with 2004 version,now the icon says battery not detected.
