and I don't understand why the fix includes a Microsoft fix that requires me/you to get out of "S" mode? I am not messing with "S" mode. I just think we should wait till they fix it on their end.

keep getting this message on windows update even after clicking retry several times,

2019-12-03T13:10:06+00:00 Having the same issue here on my Acer Spin 1 SP111-33. Unable to apply the update even after several retry attempts. I should state that the computer is currently running in S mode.

Many have reported that manually downloading and installing MSRT sorted this.
