Issue number 1:
I have the same issue with cursor working and not working in the search bar. The only way I can solve it is to go to the task manager and end task Windows Explorer. That will solve it immediately but the error does occur again. Until I found out about the ending Windows Explorer via the task manager, I had to restart my system which was ridiculous.
Issue number 2:
When a search is made and the search tools tab is created, a couple of things there are not right anymore. Usually you can search for all subfolders or current folder. The subfolder one is fine as you can go find that through the 'kind' type. The current folder search however, is very much a hit and miss affair now. I would say 3% hit and 97% miss. I you have subfolders in a search and try to search via the current folder in order just to show the main folders most of the time it doesn't change a thing. Before this latest update, there was no problem.
Issue number 3:
The other thing missing now is under the date modified search, the date range is no longer there, It makes it very difficult if you want to search for things that way.
This is very frustrating and disappointing from Microsoft. Perhaps many people don't use the search bar in file explorer but I do. I like to use its facility in order to save searches which I have found most beneficial.
