Screensaver is not working after Windows update to 1903.

I have tried setting DISPLAY, SCREEN and all the other settings to enable the screensaver to come on at the set time but nothing happens? I have to close the lid when I leave my laptop alone for awhile

    This problem happened on a previous version of windows. The temporary fix was to disconnect the peripherals until Microsoft sorted it on the next major update. I had this problem after an update on both versions of windows. I just disconnected my joystick and the screen saver started working again.

    I have the exact same issue. If Microsoft truly cared, they'd admit there's a mistake instead of saying "We're sorry, here, try this." It's absolute BS

    This fix does not work. Please give our screen savers back.

    Hi Lewman.  Recently Adobe Flash Player was uninstalled.  I suggest you download Macromedia Flash Player (it's free) to continue playing Screen Savers.  There's one suggestion.  Another is to go to your downloads folder and reinstall the screen savers.  This bypasses 1903 as a new install.  These worked for me..  I hope these suggestions work.

    USB GAMEPAD SOLVED ISSUE

    I fixed my issue by unplugging my USB gaming controller.  Everything else wasnt doing the trick and I know that gaming controllers can act as mice even though it wasnt causing problems with videos etc I had a hunch and it was right.. Just unplugging and plugging it back in resolved it.  So just a heads up for anyone else who is struggling to solve this problem.
