I noticed upon checking my Event Log Applications and my Reliability Monitor I have been getting this critical error about every 2 to 3 days now on my HP Omen i7 -16 GB Mem - Nvidia GEForce GTX 1070 on Win10 Home 64 bit and this did not start happening until I updated to v1903 on May 30^th^ . My build is 18362.239. Could someone please advise me as how to resolve this or MS deploy a fix for this. It appears I am not the only one getting these. I have reported this through the Feedback Hub. I have run all three DISMs, SFC, Malwarebytes, Norton and I turned on Windows Defender long enough for a quick scan and no problems seen. It appears this is a scheduled task that keeps failing instead of running to completion.

I have already run CCleaner several times. It doesn't find a lot in registry to clean. Got another program in mind?? I've also tried unchecking .Net Framework, rebooting, and then rechecking them. Done it again today so let's see if it works this time. I might believe that some of the things we*ve tried works if I don't get another one of those "very naughty word" errors tomorrow!
So, something else we can try.
The more I am looking around at this problem, the more I am finding people who have found the solution by doing something different than we have - so there may be multiple causes that need addressing depending on how the error/corruption has occurred.
A few people are suggesting that the problem is with .Net Framework (which can't be uninstalled). Some have found this to be a solution, though:
In the search window, begin to type 'Turn Windows Features On or Off' and then select it.
Uncheck .Net framework 4.8 Advanced Services and allow the computer to make the changes.
Reboot. Recheck the item.
It's just a switch off and on again but - what the heck? - it's worth a go.
btw, two days free of Host errors so far - but that proves nowt at the moment.

Hi Daknut,
I tried the .Net toggle when I first asked about this problem as suggested that I do by Peer_Sam a moderator and did not help. I deleted my Windows.old file several weeks ago after the 10 day limit to revert back to v1809 expired and that did not help. There was something going on the night I saw my Modules Installer going crazy thus beginning the SFC, DISM's scans and finding those Win Def errors and repairing them. I don't know but I have not seen Taskhost errors since then.
What gets me is that I know MS has to be seeing this problem across the community and they seem to be not very concerned at helping us out. With the amount of resources and the engineers they have they could find out what is going on and get a fix deployed to everyone. I guess they consider this a low priority.

It certainly does seem that the one error has many solutions as people are suggesting all types of things.
btw, I cleaned my Registry with Cache Cleaner cos, sometimes, lines of code that relate to .dlls and programs that aren't there can cause errors to be recorded.
I honestly don't think that this was the problem but I did it anyway just to eliminate the possibility.
