Sticky Notes Icon on taskbar is not combined

IS MICROSOFT LISTENING????

I don't think people in general are listening.  JFS_2967 above found a solution but you're all still crying about microsoft.

Just use Stickies. I've been using it since JFS found it and it's actually better than Sticky Notes.

That's fine for home use....

But some of use sticky notes in a corporate environment, where installation of software is rather locked down.

So that's not an option.

Microsoft fixing this, though unlikely, is an option.

So stupid.. Been very long but no update on this simple resolution..

I appreciated being told about Stickies. I am using them and although they have some additional capability, I prefer the simplicity of the Microsoft version. If you prefer Stickies, that's great, use them. I still prefer the old version of Sticky Notes, that would be my preference.

I have found a solution to our problem.  I searched for hours on the internet but every application didn't do what the old sticky notes did until I found https://www.zhornsoftware.co.uk/stickies/

This free program is exactly what works.  I even donate $5.00 to this guy because I was so happy with his program.  And all his program is, is the old sticky notes.  I am so happy.

Thank you for the research and information. I'm trying it now. So far, I prefer the OLD sticky notes better but I'm giving it a shot.

I have the same problem, I have over 10 sticky notes and when I want to maximize/minimize them all, I need to do it each note. This sucks actually.
