Snip & Sketch add a text box

I can draw on a snip, but it is hard to write a note with a mouse.

Can I add a text box and  type a note on a snip?

I understand that you want to add a text box to type a note on a snip using when using Snip & Sketch. However, I would like to inform that the feature to add a text box is currently not available.

I commend you for noticing this feature not being within Snip & Sketch. We would like to hear your thoughts and suggestions, as there may be other users with a similar requirement. Hence, I would suggest you to post a feedback in Microsoft Feedback Hub so that our developing team can review your suggestions and check if it can be included in the future updates.

    I don't think they have one. Just go back to using a Windows 3.1 system. To Snip in Sketch in Windows 3.1 you just have to press Print Screen and paste it into Paintbrush.exe. Paintbrush has a text box tool. It is amazing.

    i have direct line to bill gates. If i just can find the proper time because he always talk about fixing the whole word and stuff. Hard to get in between those. But i will try

    Please add the capability to add text. Many other applicaitons/software offer this service. You will be loosing out in the longer term with customers using snip and sketch in favor of another application that gives them superior image editing capabilites.

    I would love if you could jot down a quick note on the screenshot prior to saving! Extrememely useful ability.
