Gary, please don't be mean. Maybe you didn't mean to call me a liar but when you say "
I would guess you have never seen the screens you are describing.", that's mean. I've been fighting this thing 12+ hours a day for more than a week, way more. I've done so many variations of resets. I could cry. You say you don't
want to see images but here's my proof. These were taken at different times as you can tell. I took actual photos since there's no way to do a PrintScreen when it is asleep or it locked up.

I've seen this tons of times, probably 50 or more, as I've fought this thing with you guy's help. When I see it drifting off,
I try to catch it by touching it so this black Glance screen or blue Lockscreen doesn't show. I always set it to the max of 5 minutes as I've been fighting the phone constantly locking up.
But even then, I never know if it will have the blue background on it which means that I'll be able to wake it up, or just a black background which has always meant that it won't and that the only hope to gain any control is to do
another WDRT. Even a Soft Reset doesn't do anything.
I actually can't believe that you asked me at the end of this reply that I'm replying to "Have you done a soft reset?" I've done tons of them and I've said that tons of times in here too.
You initially say "..... Don't leave it connected all the time.".
I've only recently been doing that to both make sure the battery is fully charged but mostly because I've seemed to have much worse problems with it locking up when it has been disconnected. I'm not making that up. I don't lie. I
also don't drink or do drugs.
Szilard just said that there are some reported problems on these Lumia 950 phones that only happen when the phone isn't connected to power. So that sort of makes me think that this isn't all in my mind. In fact, I know it isn't.
Again, more meanness, "This is the way the Glance and Lock Screen
have always worked, I guess it wasn't that way for you in the past. (MEAN) You have to turn on Glance in Settings but the Lock Screen should have always been there.
The reality is, after I've done each of these Fresh Start MDRT deals, after a little while a Notification bar shows up at the top of the screen saying something about "SET YOUR GLANCE SCREEN BY TAPPING THIS".
But I haven't been worrying about that on these last 10 or 20 MDRTs since I've learned not to waist any time doing stuff since the thing is just gonna lock up in 10 or 15 minutes. GRRRR
Last thing, you'd told me how important it is to do System - Updates after I've got the MDRT all done. There must be something to that which is part of my problem and it has nothing to do with the Camera or the Photos APP's failure to be able to attach Photos to
Texts, Emails or Postings at m.facebook.com which is what made me undertake this whole mess a few weeks ago.
I've only once been able to get it to get thru the Updates process. Usually I go there and tell it to Update Now and the next page just goes on FOREVER saying Please Wait with that . . . . . moving across above that.
I've waited up to an hour and 10 minutes watching it do that and watching the Wi-Fi icon at the top with 2, 3 or 4 bars keeps showing arrows. It NEVER finishes.
Quite oddly. whenever I click the link below on that page, it is always marked on "Tell me when Updates are available" and not on "Download automatically and Install (recommended)", so I always change it. It makes no sense that it
would be always set the wrong way by default. But, whatever.
Only one time did something weird happen during this Updating process. I don't remember exactly the steps but it died or shut off during the process and then it restarted with the churning gears icon. I'm pretty sure that's all normal
as I've seen my phone do that in the middle of the night in the past before.
I do think it ran better for awhile after that. But then once again it locked up and couldn't started without doing a MDRT.
