2 days ago i upgraded my windows 10 to build 1903 , since then ,

randomly and during any activity (gaming , watching a video ..etc) ,

screen with the word "locking" in the middle appears for half a second and my laptop goes into sleep mode

and then i have to turn it on again

this never happened before the update , i tried to reset and fresh start but, nothing worked , and now i can't get back to previous build

what do i do ?

HELP , PLEASE

SOLUTION

Hey guys

So, I solved the issue (for me, at least) a long time ago but forgot to report back. My apologies

Basically,

Settings -> power and sleep -> additional power settings -> change advanced power settings -> battery

Then, change critical battery action and low battery action to do nothing both on battery and plugged in

I don't know if others already solved the problem In a different way, but i Hope that helps

Have a good day

I have the very same problem - has happened multiple times on my laptop. No pattern to it - I can go weeks between the times it happens. I noticed there are over 14,000 views to this problem - at what point will Microsoft look to find..and provide...a solution to the problem?

Take out the Battery of your Laptop and plug it back without battery, change the sleep setting to "never" on both option for screen and Power turnoff. will be OK if battery is a problem for that. i Experiment with DELL Vastro 3550.
